- 1 pound ground beef or pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 green onions finely chopped,
- 2 cloves garlic minced,
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste,
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
In a saucepan, mix ketchup, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and chili flakes over medium heat until thickened.
Toss the baked meatballs in the sauce until fully coated.
Serve hot with a side of spicy mayo dip and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
